BIO:  JV HARRIS

JV Harris is an alternative rock artist based out of Milwaukee, WI. His passion for music ignited in the classroom when  his elementary school teacher made a rap and shared it with the students. From that day on, JV has been writing music relentlessly. He released his first single, "Betrayal," a hip-hop record that accumulated over 8 million listens and a placement in a video by Chloe Ting, one of the top workout influencers.

Looking to push the boundaries of his creativity, JV decided to switch genres from hip-hop to a mix of indie rock, alternative, and punk. This transition allowed him to explore new sounds and express a different side of his musical persona while infusing it with some of his hip-hop influences such as Post Malone, Kid Cudi, and Trippie Redd.

 

Harris aims to carve out a new lane for himself in the alternative rock space as he is currently working on his debut album. If the phrase "rock is dead" holds any truth, JV hopes to be the one to resurrect it.
